This new additive in cold medicine instead of pseudoephedrine (the stuff they use to make meth)... sucks!
Not only does it not work, so I still can't breathe, but I also now have a pounding headache.

It's lonely here.
I haven't lived in this part of the country in a long time and I don't know anyone. There are a few people I know in the city, but none that I know well enough for them to want to hang out with me just 'cause...
Granted, I shouldn't be doing too much social stuff, with all they studying I need to get done, but... It would be nice to be able to go out and grab dinner or go see a movie with a friend, y'know?

Given the horrible sound my poor computer has been making and the fact that it seems to be freezing up every so often, I think I'm going to try to use it as little as possible before returning to the states and having a Dell tech come to look at and hopefully fix it. As a result, I won't be online nearly as much as I usually am, so if you don't see me around, that's why. I'll do my best to be online when possible, using the computer lab, library, and my ipaq. |

Whatever you may think of the politics of military involvement, I believe that the men and women of the armed forces deserve our support and gratitude. Xerox has started a program to send messages to troops overseas and I'd like to encourage everyone to take a moment to send one.

I had a very strange dream...
Not sure how to explain it exactly, but it was something along the lines of a bunch of people on a boat being trained/tested as slaves/submissives. I don't think we were there initially by choice, but we could have left. We were put in groups and assigned a staff person... I found myself very much wanting to please ours, who preferred to be called Megan rather than ma'am. I wanted to please her, but didn't think I was doing a particularly good job.
I dunno. It was just weird.
The whole situation was weird, but the whole strong desire to please/submit to her was weirder, as I usually don't have those sorts of desires when it comes to women. |

apparently LJ doesn't care if it's the right size or not. I made my own animated icon, smaller than the max size and it still gives me the crap about "nothing bigger than 100x100 allowed"
